A Little About Me
I am a proud Dallas native who grew up in the southern suburb of Oak Cliff. After graduating from the prestigious Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, I went on to study choral conducting and music education at Stephen F. Austin State University. I quickly made my way back home to Dallas once I received my Bachelor of Music Education and Master of Music in Choral Conducting.
I just finished my 14th year of education, where I taught choir and music studies in Garland ISD as the Director of Choirs and Department Chair for the Visual and Performing Arts.
In my free time, I am a part of a book club with several other educators that is currently reading through a sci-fi novel. I also enjoy playing with my two birds, three cats, and gardening with my significant other of 20 years.
